Slice the picture
In this basic tutorial we'll slice an image into a number of smaller pieces and save them all at once.

1.

|
Open a picture you want to slice up.
|
|
|

|
|
Choose the Slice Tool.
Right click the Crop Tool in order to display more options hiding under the button.

Use your mouse to select/slice a part of your picture (see picture).
|
|
|

Select the remaining parts of your picture (see picture).
|
|
|

Now choose the Slice Select Tool.
|
|

In the menu click View, Snap To and select Slices.
Click the part of the picture where you want to adjust your selections and use your mouse to adjust it.

Let's now save your slices.
In the menu click File and choose Save for Web...
Choose JPEG and click Save.
|

|
Choose the destination where you want to Save your slices and name your file. All slices option should be selected next to Slices.
Click Save.

|
Browse to the map you chose in the previous step to see your picture sliced and saved into a number of files.
