Screen shots on Android phones
Let me show you how to make screen shots of you Android phone using your computer.

1.

|
|
First of all we need to download the Android SDK tools.
Click here to go to Android SDK tools download page and click installer_xy-windows.exe to start the download (see picture).

|
After downloading install the SDK Tools.
|
|
|

|
|
When done installing, go to the folder where you installed the tools.
Open the tools folder.
|
|
|

|
Inside the folder find the ddms.bat file and run it.
|
|
|

|
|
For the program to run successfully you need to activate USB debugging mode on your Android phone.
Open Settings and tap Applications.
|
|
|

|
Tap to check USB debugging option.
|
|
|

|
|
The ddms program (Dalvik Debug Monitor) you opened earlier should now display some data about your Android device.
Click the first row (see picture).
|

|
|
|
In the menu click Device and choose Screen capture...
|
|
|

|
|
|
Your phone's display should now be visible on your computer.
|
