Cartoonize images with GIMP

A free image editing program GIMP comes armed with a mighty arsenal of filters, Cartoon is one of the coolest.

Open the image in GIMP.

In the menu click Filters, Artistic and Cartoon.

Now play with Mask radius and Percent black settings until you like what you see. Make sure to have Preview checked as well.

I like the more subtile touch, that's why I've set Mask radius to 3,11 and Percent black to 0,198.

That's my result, it looks even cooler on the bigger version of the picture.
