Put the computer into Hibernation
If you put your computer into hibernation, the next time you turn it on, you'll get all your windows and programs open just the way they were before the shutdown.

Hibernate saves your session and turns off the computer. The next time you turn it on, the Windows restores your session.
The previous versions of Windows had the hibernate option available by default, in Windows 7 you need to activate it.

Click the Start button and enter cmd.exe into the Search programs and files field.
|
|
|

Right click the cmd.exe in the Programs search results and choose Run as administrator.
|

A Command Prompt window opens.
Enter powercfg /hibernate on in the command prompt window and press Enter.

|

|
You show now have the Hibernate option available.
|
|
|

|
If you choose Hibernate the next time you turn the computer on, the Windows will resume to the state before the shut down.
