Selective colors with History Brush
There are quite a few ways to achieve the selective colors on black and white effect, let's learn how to create one using the History Brush.

1.
Open a picture.
I've opened a picture of me in a snowboarding attire. I only want my goggles to pop out in color and the rest in black and white.
2.
Press Shift + Ctrl + U to Desaturate (loose the colors) the picture.
3.
Choose the History Brush Tool.
4.
Set the appropriate brush size.
5.
And start painting the area you want in color.
As you can see the History Brush uncovers the state before you applied a filter, effect or in our case an image adjustment function - desaturatation.
