Gold plated iPhone you say? A piece of cake and you don't even have to spend money on it, just follow my lead.

1.

|
Open a picture of an iPhone.
Click here to download the picture used in this lesson.

|
|
Choose the Polygonal Lasso Tool.
|
|
|
3.
|
|
|
Select the phone screen.
Just click all the corners of the screen to create a selection.
Press Ctrl + J to create a new layer from a selection.
|
|
|

|
|
Choose the Background layer and press Ctrl + J to duplicate the layer.
|
|
|

|
|
Now with the background copy layer selected click the fx button ...
|
|
|

|
|
... and choose Color Overlay...
|
|
|

|
|
Set the Blend Mode to Color Burn and click the color to open the color overlay chooser...
|
|
|

|
|
...enter fd055 into the # field (see picture) and click OK.
|
|
|
9.
|
|
|
Your iPhone is now 24 karat gold plated!

Press Ctrl + L and adjust levels a bit, then click OK.
|
