Crazy text effect
Let's enter a text and apply the same effect a couple of times to get this awesome crazy looking text.

1.

Open a new document and choose the Horizontal Type Tool.
|
|
|
2.
|
|
|
Click the document and enter some text.
|
|
|
3.
|
|
|
Press Ctrl + T to merge the layers.
|
|
|
4.
|
|
|
Press Ctrl + I to inverse the colors.
|
|
|
5.
|
|
|
In the menu click Filter, Stylize and choose Wind...
Choose the same settings as I did and click OK.
|
|
|

|
Press Ctrl + F to apply the last applied effect once more.
Wind effect in our case.
|

|
In the menu click Image, Image Rotation and choose 90 CW.
You just rotated the image by 90 degrees clockwise.

|

Press Ctrl + F two times to apply the last used wind effect two times.
|
|
|
9.
|
|
|
In the menu click Image, Image Rotation and choose 180...
Press Ctrl + F two times to apply the last used wind effect two times.
|
|

|
In the menu click Image, Image Rotation and choose 90 CCW...
Press Ctrl + F two times to apply the last used wind effect two times.
In the menu click Image, Image Rotation and choose 180 to rotate the image back to the original state.

Press Ctrl + U to open Hue and Saturation settings window.
Check the Colorize option and play around with the sliders to achieve the color effect you like the most.
Press OK when done.
