Typography
In this lesson we're going to make a cool text effect in just a few easy steps.

1.
|
|
|
Open a new document and paint it whole black.
|
|
|
2.
|
|
|
Choose the the Horizontal Type Tool (T).
|
|
|
3.
|
|
|
Click and drag the mouse from one corner to another in order to create a text entry field.
|
|
|
4.

|
|
Enter anything you want.
|
|
|
5.
|
|
|
Press Ctrl + T and rotate text like I did.
|
|
|
6.

|
|
Set the Opacity to 30%.
|
|
|
7.
|
|
|
Enter a new text and rotate it the same way you did the previous one.
|
|
|

|
Set the Blending options to Soft Light.
|
|
|

|
It should look something like this.

|
In the menu click Layer, New Fill Layer and choose Gradient.
|
|
|
11.
|
|
|
Click OK and choose/enter the same settings as I did.
|
|
|
12.
|
|
|
Choose black:white gradient and click OK.
|
|
|
13.

|
Set the Blending options to Soft Light.
|
|
|
