How to unlock the file in use
If any file can not be deleted, then you can use the program LockHunter, which removes the active connections of other applications to that file, which allow you to change or delete file.

You can use default settings for installation.
Click Next a couple of times.
|

On the end click Finish.
|

Sometimes we want to delete or edit a file...

... we get notification, that the action can't be completed.
The cause for that is usually that the file is opened in some program, so we can't change it until the connection to that file is active.

Righ-click on the file and select "What is locking this file?".
|
|
|

|
Click YES that you allow to application to make some changes on the computer.
|
|
|

|
In application you will see which program holds the connection to the file.
In my case this is Word.
|
|
|

|
Click Unlock It! to remove all active connections to the file.
Now you will be able to change or delete file.
