Video slideshow from your photos

Let's make a simple video from your photos, with a title, credits, nice transitions and some music for better mood.

Start the Windows Live Movie Maker.

Click Click here to browse for videos and pictures.

Chose the pictures you want to add to your video slide show.

Hold Ctrl to select or deselect pictures.

Let's add the video title.

Click Add title button (see picture).

Choose the font you like and make it Bold (see picture).

Write the title of your video.

Choose the title effect you like (see picture).

Click Home in the menu.

Let's add the video credits.

Click Add credits button (see picture).

And enter the credits for your video.

Choose the effect you would like for your credits (see picture).

In the menu click Animations.

Choose the transition effect you would like to have on your slide show.

You can choose a different effect for every picture, but if you want to apply the same effect to all pictures, click Apply to all (see picture).

Let's add some music to make the video slide show more interesting.

In the menu click Home then Add Music button, select the mp3 file or similar and click Open.

Click Play bellow to see how your video looks and sounds like.

Let's save the project in case you would want to edit it in the future.

In the menu click the Movie Maker button (see picture).

Choose Save project.

 Entert he name of your project and click Save.

Let's save the actual video you just made.

In the menu click the Movie Maker button (see picture) ...

... click Save movie ....

... and choose Recommended for this project.

You can of course choose the other options as well.

Enter the name of your video and click Save.

It's saving...

Saving time depends of the size, applied effects and number of your pictures.

...and done!

Your movie is now saved in a WMV (Windows Media Video) file and ready to be shared with your friends and family.
