Click here to open the English spell checker Firefox add-on page.
When the page opens, click Add to Firefox to start the download

The add-on should be downloaded.

Click Restart now to activate the spell checker.
|

Whenever you type something in Firefox, for example, an e-mail in your online e-mail provider, the spell checker will be proofing your every word and if you spell it wrong (in my case wokrs instead of works), the spell checker will underline that word.

Click Firefox and Add-ons.

And click disable.
If you want to completely remove the add-on, click Remove.
