How to add an event in Calendar in Windows 8
Windows 8 has very functional calendar to remind you about all events you don't want to miss. In this lesson I will show you an example how to add birthday reminder.

Go to Start screen and select
Calendar
.
2.
Select date where you want to put birthday reminder.
3.
Enter the subject for reminder.
4.
Now
double-click
on a date to open properties.
5.
At
How long
field select
All day
.
You can choose what ever you want.
6.
When you are done click
Save this event
icon (
Ctrl + S
).
7.
Your event has been saved.
