When there is will, there is a way and these two Australian fellows, Steve Sammartino and Raul Oaida are a perfect proof for just that. Imagine having more than 500,000 lego pieces and turning them into a fully functions life-size two-seater you can actually drive at speeds up to 20 mph (32 km/h).

Further more this fetching looking Lego hot rod's engine is also built from standard Lego pieces and it runs on air. Yes you read it correctly, it is powered by nothing but air.

Check out all the interesting facts regarding this awesome Lego project taken from the official  superawesomemicroproject web site:

- More than 500,000 LEGO pieces were used.
- The car engine is made from standard Lego pieces and runs on air!
- The engine has four orbital engines and a total of 256 pistons.
- Top speed is not very fast, around 20-30km
- It was built in Romania and shipped to a secret location in suburban Melbourne.
- It’s a Hot Rod design, mainly because hot rods are cool.

Yeah it's pretty awesome. Another interesting thing, the car was built in Romania and then shipped to Australia. Talking about fragile cargo.
