How to use Layout Options in Word 2013
In Microsoft Word 2013 we can easily format text with the help of layout options. In this lesson I will show you how you can easily align text with inserted picture.

1.

|
Open or create any text.
|
|
|

|
|
Move to the place where you want to add a picture.
|
|
|

|
...and click Pictures.
|
|
|

|
|
Explorer window shows up.
Select the picture you want to add and click Insert.
|
|
|

|
|
|
The picture is inserted.
In my case the picture is too big, so I will minimize it.
|

|
Just hold it for the edge and simply minimize it.
|
|
|

|
|
We can see that the text is not aligned with the picture.
Select the picutre and click Layout Options icon.
|
|
|

|
|
Under With Text Wrapping select Square.
|
|
|

|
|
The text is aligned with the picture.
|
|
|

|
|
If you want to change the settings just select the picture and click Layout Options again.
