According to New York Times, an engineering company that creates advanced mobile research robots such as the fastest running robot WildCat, a human-like moving PETMAN, or a powerful and super stable mule robot BigDog, has been successfully bought by the Internet and tech-venture venture giant Google.

Boston Dynamics is the eight advanced robotics company that Google has acquired in the last six months. It is not quite sure yet, what Google plants to do with all this robotic technology it now has at its disposal. What we do now is, the new head of Google robotic venture is Andy Rubin, the Google executive who was in charge of the world's most spread mobile operating system, the Android.
