How to use Toggle Track Output in Premiere
In this lesson I will show you how to create an interesting effect in Premiere. Probably you've already seen it on television and so why not try to make it yourself?

1.

Create new project.
Import any video...
How to import the video see
|
|
|

|
|
|
...and drag it to Timeline at Video 1.
|
|
|

|
|
|
Drag the same video also to Timeline at Video 2.
|
|
|
4.
|
|
|
Select video at Video 2.
Go to Effects, Video Effects, Transform, select Crop...
|
|
|

|
|
...and drag it to Effect Controls above.
|
|
|

|
|
Open Crop and set Top and Bottom to 25%.
|
|
|

|
|
|
Click Toggle Track Output icon next to Video 1...
|
|
|

|
|
...to get two black ribbons on the top and the bottom.
|
|
|

|
|
Now turn back on Toggle Track Output and select video at Video 1.
|
|
|

|
|
|
At Effect Controls open Motion and increase Scale for two-thirds.
If you won't like the result on the end, you can try to improve it with changing the Position value.

Select Video 1 and go to Effects, Video Effects, Color Correction, select Tree-Way Color Corrector...
|
|
|

...and drag it to Effect Controls.
|
|
|

|
Click Show/Hide Timeline View to get some space in Effect Controls window.
|
|
|

|
Open Three-Way Color Corrector to improve colors in the video.
|
|
|

|
At Three-Way Hue Balance and Angle set position of the first circle as I did...
|
|
|

|
|
...and also increase the power, by draging with mouse cursor from the center of the circle to the edge.
|

|

|
Now do something similar with the other two circles.
|
|
|

Go to Input Levels below the circles...
|
|
|

...and drag white slider to the left to increase the light.
|
