Metal Grid Photoshop Tutorial
This time we will create a metal grid effect from a scratch in today's Photoshop tutorial which is as usual simple to follow.

1.

|
Create random sized document.
Press D key to set black and white colors.
|
|
|

|
|
After that click above on Filter, Texture and select Stained Glass...
In a new window set the same values as I did and click OK.

Nice effect, do you agree?

|
Select Magic Wand Tool (W).
|
|
|

|
|
Click on black color to select it.
You might use the mouse scroller and Alt (Option on MacOS) to zoom in or zoom out.

Then press Ctrl (Command on MacOS) and J together to create a new layer from selected area.
|
|
|

|
We will fill the background layer with white color if it is not yet filled. In case if it is, skip to step 10.
Select Background layer.

Click above on Edit and select Fill...
Set Use to White and click OK.
|
|
|

|
And select the duplicated layer.
|
|
|

|
|
Click above on Layer, Layer Style and select Inner Glow...
Set the same values as I did and set grey color (see my pic).
Don't close the window ...

After that select Drop Shadow.
And set again the same settings like I did.
Click OK.
