How to rename the Tile in Windows 8
If you are a fan of using the main screen in windows 8, but you doesn't like name of the tile, you can rename it. In this lesson I will show you how we can easily rename tile in Windows 8.

|
Go to the tile you want to rename. I want to change the name of a tile "Paint".
|

|

|
Right-click on a tile...
|
|
|

|
|
...and select Open file location below.
|
|
|

|
|
Now select the file and under Home click Rename (shortcut F2).
|
|
|

|
|
|
Rename the tile. I have changed "Paint" to "Painter".
|
|
|

|
|
You can get an alert if you have an admistrative rights. Click Continue.
|
|
|

|
|
|
As you can see the name is changed.
|
|
|

|
|
If you go back to the main window, you can see that the name of the tile is also changed.
