Ice Effect Photoshop Tutorial
In this Photoshop's tutorial we will open a random photograph and with a little of retouching add an ice effect that will make it magical.

1.

|
|
Open any color photograph you want.
|
|
|
2.

|
|
Press Ctrl (Command on MacOS) and U together to open Levels dialog.
Set the same settings like I did and press OK button.
|

|
Press Ctrl (Command on MacOS) and J together to duplicate layer.
Set the duplicated layer's blending mode to Overlay.
|
|
|

|
|
Click above on Filter, Blur and select Gaussian Blur...
Set the same settings like I did and press OK button.

|
|
Press Ctrl (Command on MacOS) and U together top open Hue/Saturation window.
Then select Colorize and set the same values like I did. Press OK when finished.

Select the Background layer.
|
|
|

Press Ctrl (Command on MacOS) and J together to duplicate layer.
Then drag with mouse the duplicated layer to top on layers' palette (see my picture).

Click above on Filter, Render and select Lens Flare...
Set the same settings like I did.
Don't close the window ...
|

Now select the Lens Flare position on thumbnail like I did and press OK when finished.
|

Set the layer's blending mode to Multiply.
|
|
|

|
|
|
Select again the Background layer.
|
|
|

|
|
Press Ctrl (Command on MacOS) and U together top open Hue/Saturation window.
Then select Colorize and set the same values like I did. Press OK when finished.

|
And we are finished.
