How to use Set in and Set out points to cut the video

In this lesson I will show you how to cut the video with the help of Set In and Set Out points. This tool is very useful if you want to cut the video more accurately.

1.
 

Create new Project.

Double click bellow the Sequence to import the video.

Select any video you want to edit and click Open.

Select video below Sequence...

...and drag it to Timeline at Video 1.

Dobule click on the video in Timeline to open video in edit mode above.

Now hold the blue indicator...

 
 
7.
 

...and move it to the time where you want to cut the video.

 
 
8.
 

Now click Set In Point icon.

 
 
9.
 

Move blue indicator to the other side where you want to cut the video...

 
 
10.
 

... and now click Set Out Point icon.

 
 
11.
 

We are done with cutting.

Now we have to move the video to the place we want. Select Selection Tool.

 
 
12.
 

Now hold the video clip...

 
 
13.
 

...and move it to the place you want. In my case that is at the begining.
