1.
Bring out the new potatoes.
Mine are directly from a farm and not a store, that's why there's some mud on them.
3.
Put em in a bowl or somewhere else.
4.
Cut the bigger pieces of the potatoes so they will get cooked more evenly.
5.
Put the potatoes into a bigger pot with water in it.
Put the pot onto the cooking surface and set it to the highest temperature.
And pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C (356 F).
6.
A few minutes later add a few pinches of salt.
7.
Stir the potatoes and let them cook for a few more minutes.
Potatoes should still be hard when you are done cooking.
8.
With the help of pot cover, spill out the water.
Be careful, water is still boiling hot!
9.
Take the baking tray and pour three spoons of oil in it.
Use just enough oil to cover the whole baking tray.
10.
Put the half cooked potatoes into the baking tray.
11.
Stir them a bit, and sort them evenly in the baking tray.
12.
Put the tray into the oven with temperature set to 180 degrees C (356 F).
13.
Let it roast for 10 minutes then open the oven and stir it a bit again.
Be careful and try not to get burnt.
Close the oven again.
14.
Wait for another 10 minutes and use the fork to see if the potatoes are done.
Run the fork into potato, it should slide in fairly easy.
15.
Take out the tray with potatoes and if you wish add some more salt.

Hope you like your first very own roast potatoes!
