How to blur the video clip in Premiere
Sometimes you don't want others to see what stupid things you are doing on the video clip. In this lesson you will learn how to blur the particulary part of the video.

1.

Create new Project and import the video.
How to do that look at this lesson
. Select imported video...
|
|
|

|
|
...and drag it to Timeline at Video 1.
|
|
|

|
|
Drag once again imported video into Timeline, only this time drag it at Video 2.
|
|
|

|
|
Now go with the time indicator...
|
|
|

|
...to the part of the video you want to blur.
I will blur this giant head on the picture.

|
Right-click below imported video, click New Item and select Title...
|
|
|

|
Name the video and click OK.
|
|
|

|
Select Ellipse Tool in new window.
|
|
|

|
Now create an ellipse in the part of the video you want to blur.
|
|
|

Now select the video clip you have just created...
|
|
|

...and drag it to the part, in the video, you want to blur.
|
|
|

Now take the Razor Tool...
|
|
|

|
|
...and cut the clip at Video 2 to be adjusted to the part you have just inserted.

Select Selection Tool...
|
|
|

|
|
...and select left and right part of the video and delete them (press DEL).
|
|
|

|
Select the rest of the video in Video 2.
|
|
|

Click Stylize under Video Effects on the left, select and hold Mosaic...
|
|
|

|
|
... and drag it to the Sequence window above. Than open Mosaic settings and set Horizontal and Vertical to 23.

Now click Keying under Video Effects, select Track Matte Key...
|
|
|

|
|
... and drag it also to the Sequence window. Open Track Matte Key settings and set Matte: Video 3 and Composite: Matte Alpha.

|
We are done. Now look at the video.
