How to set Popup Message in Dreamweaver

The Popup Message behavior displays a JavaScript alert with the message you specify. In this lesson I will show you how to put an alert with a warning message on the website.

Open Dreamweaver and create new HTML document.

Click Window and select Behaviors. Behaviors must be marked.

 
 
3.
 

Click Add Behavior icon on the right side…

 
 
4.
 

…and select Popup Message.

 
 
5.
 

In the message box write any text and click OK.

 
 
6.
 

Save the page (Ctrl + S).

 
 
7.
 

Press F12 to see your page in a browser.

The popup message should display in a new window.
