How to use Named Anchors in Dreamweaver
Named anchors let you set markers in a document, often placed at a specific topic or at the top of a document. I will show you how to create quick access to some of the titles that you have on the website.

I have created a document that is divided into three parts (What is faith, The spiritual dimesion, Attempt to identify).
On the top I have added the list of contents. I suggest to read this lesson first.

2.
Click with the mouse at the beginning of the first title
3.
Now click Insert and select Named Anchor to add anchor.
4.
Enter the name of anchor and click OK.
My anchor name for the first title is “faith”.

5.
The icon is added at the beginning of the title.
This means that the title is marked and will help me later on.
6.
Now repeat the procedure for the second title…
8.
When you have anchored all three titles, select first title above.

9.
Under Properties at Link field enter sign # and the same name you used for the anchor name.
In my case this is “#faith”. Don’t forget on a # sign, otherwise the link will not work.

Repeat the procedure for the other two titles.
