Motorola to build modular smartphones

Motorola disclosed an open-source project for modular smartphones, meaning you will be able to replace a camera with a new one, by simply changing the camera module. How great does that sound?

Motorola disclosed an open-source project called Project Ara. To quote the blog, "Project Ara is developing a free, open hardware platform for creating highly modular smartphones. We want to do for hardware what the Android platform has done for software: create a vibrant third-party developer ecosystem, lower the barriers to entry, increase the pace of innovation, and substantially compress development timelines."

Motorola will be working with Phonebloks, author of the original open-source modular smartphone initiative that took the Internet by storm.

If you want to collaborate with Motorola and help at shaping Project Ara, you can sign up to become an Ara Scout.

It is worth paying attention to the size and shape of your phone. Protective glass should completely cover the active surface of the screen without affecting the operating elements, such as buttons or sensors. It is best to choose glass that is specifically designed for your phone model or has a universal design.

Protective glass for your phone is an important and practical investment that can significantly extend the life of your device. When choosing cell phone screen protectors https://screen-mobile.com/, there are several key factors to consider to ensure optimal protection and quality.

First, one of the most important aspects of the choice is the type of protective glass. There are several options, including tempered glass, film, and hybrid options. Tempered glass is the most popular and effective option because it is highly durable and scratch-resistant. Film is usually thinner and more flexible, but it may offer less effective protection.

Second, you should pay attention to the durability level of the protective glass. Glass with a high hardness on the Mohs hardness scale or similar standards is ideal. Higher hardness offers better protection against damage such as scratches and cracks.
