Open Microsoft Excel and click on any cell. I chose 1A.

Enter any date. I entered 7. oktober, 2013.

Excel will automatically convert format of the date.

Now we will change this format. Right-click on a cell with a date and select Format cells...

On the left side, under Category, select the date and on the right side, under Type, select date format you want.I selected *14. marec 2012. Confirm with OK.

You might see # # # # # # # signs. Just double click on the line between A and B.

Cells are settled so that the date is displayed again.

Go to the bottom right edge of the cell (where the date is) and hold the mouse button ...

... and drag the mouse down to the cell you want.

Dates are displayed sequentially.
