How to Find an Unknown Text Color in Word

In this lesson you will learn how to find out the color of the text with unknown color. This color can be easily used in a further text.

We have a document in which is used text with the unknown color.

Click on the text, for which you want to know the color.

Click the Font color icon above and choose More colors.

As you will notice, the color of the text is already selected by default.

Click OK.

Now select some other text.

 
 
5.
 

Click Font color icon again.

 
 
6.
 

The color of the original text is now shown under Recent colors.

Now just click on the color and the new text will be the same color as the original.
