How to add mp3 music to an iPad for beginners
A beginners guide for all you people out there who want to add your favorite mp3 songs to an iPad.

1.

|
Connect your iOS device to your computer with the USB cable you got along with the device.
|
|
|

|
|
On the computer open iTunes and click on iPad or any other connected iOS device.
You need to have iTunes installed on your computer. If you don't, download it from here and install it, it's pretty straight forward.

|
|
Summary of your iOS device shows up.
|
|
|

|
|
In the same windows option Manually manage music and videos should be enabled.
|
|
|

|
|
Click the On This iPad button.
Or iPhone if you're adding music to your iPhone.
|
|
|

Now go to the folder where you have your music stored and simply select it click it and drag it ...
|

... in the iTunes Music library (see picture).
You can select as many folders as you like, or you can select individual mp3 files as well.

iTunes will start transfering music from your computer to iPad.
|
|
|

Wait for the process to finish. The duration depends on amount of music you are transfering.
|
|
|

|
|
When process is finished go to your iPad and tap Music.
|
