Image sharpening in Photoshop CC

The newest Photoshop release CC comes with an advanced tool for making blurry pictures sharper. Let's me show you how to use it.

  Author: mat | Version: CC | 14th September 2013 |

1.

Open a photo you want to sharpen up.

2.

In the menu click Filter, Sharpen and choose Shake Reduction...

3.

A new dialog Shake Reduction dialog window pops up. Photoshop Automatically detects in which direction the camera shake occurred.

You can adjust the direction manually as well, but I will leave this step out.

4.

Photohop sharpened my photo.

5.

If your picture is a bit too sharp and grainy, you can use the smoothing option.

6.

Make sure you have the Preview option enabled so you can see the changes in realtime.

7.

The final result.

Without any manual tweaks, Photoshop did that automatically by itself.

8.

And this is the original photo.

The original photo was taken in the low-light conditions, that's why the sharpened version ended up a bit grainy.

If I understand correctly you want to do image sharpening in C#.

If the price of the library from your link is a problem, you can try with an example found on the page:
