Moving object effect on a photograph
Cool Photoshop tutorial where you will create effect of moving with duplicating layers and lowering their opacity settings.

1.

|
Open a photo with an object or a person.
I have opened a successful Slovenian skier, Rene Mlekuz.
|
|
|
2.
|
|
|
Select Quick Selection Tool (shortcut is a key W).
|
|
|

|
Then press Ctrl + J twice to create two duplicates of Background layer.
After that select the first duplicated layer (see the picture).

|
|
Set Soft Light blending mode for this layer (see the picture).
|
|
|

|
Then select the tool Move Tool (shortcut is the key V).
|
|
|

|
|
|
Move left the duplicated layer.
You can press the arrow left key to move it too if you want.
|

|
|
No press the key Alt and move the layer a little bit to the left again.
Alt key has duplicated the layer again when it was moved.
|
|
|
9.
|
|
|
Select Opacity for new duplicated layer to 65%.
|
|
|
10.
|
|
|
Then repeat last two steps again and again and lower Opacity for every layer a little bit more.
