How to add Facebook app to Facebook page

You made an Facebook app for a Facebook page, but it doesn't seem to appear among the apps on that page. No biggie, let me show you how to connect a Facebook app with a Facebook fan page.

For this to work, you need an App ID of the app you are trying to add and ID of the Facebook page you are trying to add the app to.

Go to https://developers.facebook.com/apps/ and choose your Facebook app on the left.

In the right pane, notice the App ID/API Key entry, this is the ID of your app that we are looking for. Copy and paste it somewhere.

I use notepad for such occasions.

Now open the https://graph.facebook.com/fb_page only to change the fb_page part with the name of the Facebook Page you want to add the app to.

For example https://graph.facebook.com/Dreevoo

A webpage with all sorts of data about the Facebook page opens up. Find the "id" and copy paste number into the same text document you pasted the app id earlier.

This is the Facebook Page id.

Now copy/paste the following url into the text document:

http://facebook.com/add.php?api_key=[YOUR_APP_KEY]&pages=1&page=[YOUR_PAGE_ID]

Then replace the [YOUR_APP_KEY] with App Id and [YOU_PAGE_ID] with the Page Id value.

From my example like this: 

http://facebook.com/add.php?api_key=162756690570780&pages=1&page=251744304905768

Now copy/paste the complete url to your web browser and simply click the Add button. If everything went well, your Facebook app should now be visible on the Facebook page you were adding it to.
