How to turn off Facebook notifications sound
If you find sounds playing on each Facebook notification you receive annoying, you can disable them at any time, let me show you how.

Click the Facebook Settings button (see picture) ...
|

... and choose Account Setting.
|

Click On Facebook next to How You Get Notifications.

Now simply disable the Play a sound when Play a sound when each new notification is received option and click Save Changes.
