How to unhide Photoshop CS6 filters in the menu

Due to work flow optimization guys at Adobe decided to hide some of the filters in Photoshop CS6, if you are missing some of them, you can easily make the visible again.

1.

In  Photoshopu CS6 if you click Filters in the menu, notice some of the filters filter categories, such as Artistic, Brush Strokes and some of the others missing.

They are still available in the Filter Gallery window, but some of you (me including) would like to have them back in under the Filters menu.

2.

To bring them back, click EditPreferences and choose Plug-Ins...

3.

In the Plug-Ins settings window, enable the Show all Filter Gallery groups and names option.

4.

Click OK.

5.

And you should now have your missing filters back in the Filters menu.
