Make Windows 8 boot straight to the desktop
In case you are not a great fan of the Windows 8 Metro user interface, you can tell the system to go straight to the Desktop mode.

Click Start, enter taskschd.msc and click to open the program.
There are a few more ways to open the task scheduler, this one is the fastest.

V novem oknu kliknite na Create Task...
|
|
|

Under the General tab in the Name field enter a name for the new task.
|
|
|

At Configure for choose Windows 8 and click OK.
|
|

At Begin the task choose At log on.
|
|
|

Leave other settings as they are and click OK.
|
|

In the New Action window, leave Action to Start a program and in the Program/Script field enter c:\Windows\explorer.exe and click OK.

Disable the Start the task only if the computer is on AC power option and click OK.
This goes only if you are a notebook user.

In the main Task Scheduler window click Task Scheduler Library and the new task you just created should be visible.
|

The next time you restart your computer, Windows 8 should go directly into the Desktop mode.
