3 ways to find out your public Internet IP address
Sometimes you want to know the IP address you present yourself with on the Internet. These are the 3 most common ways to find out.

The easiest one is to simply do a Google search for ip address.
|
|
|

|
|
First hit (after ads) is Your public IP address.
|
|
|

|
|
The third way, if you are behind a home or work router (and you probably are) is to logon to the router.
In this case you need to know your router's IP address and if you have username and password set to access the router (you probably have) then you need to know them as well.
