How to find out where an image came from

TinEye is a great reverse image search online service, that can tell you where an image came from, find different sizes of the image and you can find out if someone is using your image without your permission.

1.

Open the TinEye.com website.

On the website you have two option. In the first option you can upload an image from you computer. Let's try this.

Click Browse and choose an image for upload.

2.

The image will be processed and the awesome TinEye service will display all versions and locations of the image you just uploaded.

3.

The second option is to provide a link to the image that is located on the web.

Right click an image on a website and choose Copy Image Location.

4.

Click the Enter image address field, paste the link (Ctrl + V)and click Search button.

5.

Once again, TinEye displays all versions of the image that were able to be found across the web.

TinEye is also a great way to see if anyone's using your photos and images without your permission.
