Google as default search in IE for Windows Phone 8
If you would like to search the web with Google instead of Bing in the Internet Explorer on your Windows Phone 8, do the following.

Open Internet Explorer.

Tap the option button (see picture).

Change the Default search provider from Bing ...

If you now try and do a web search in your Internet Explorer ...

... you should get the search results provided by Google.
