Photoshop personalized New Year greeting card part 2
Create a New Year's card made out of pictures and photos that made your year. This is the part two of the Photoshop tutorial.

Double-click the thumbnail of the original text layer to enter the text edit mode (see picture).

In the toolbar above click the Set the text color button (see picture).
|
|
|

Now click somewhere on the background picture to set the color of the text. Click as many times as you want until you are satisfied with the color of your "shadow" text.
Click OK when done.

Click the Commit button to confirm the changes.
|
|
|

Now select the merged pictures layer (upper most).
|
|
|

|
In the menu click Image, Adjustments and choose Black & White ...
Enable the Tint option and set the hue the way you like it.
I've set it to the orange area to give it a vintage sepia look.
Click OK when done.

Now again Choose the Horizontal Type Tool, click the Set the text color button ...
|
|

... click the set the same color as you set for the "shadow" text and click OK.
|
|
|

|
|
Now click somewhere on the background picture of the document and type happy.
Click the Commit button (see step 4).

Press Ctrl + T to enter the free transform more.
Move and resize the text under the first digit the same way I did.
Don't forget to hold the shift key while resizing to keep the proportions in tact.
Press Enter when done.

And you are done.
