How to add weather widget to Samsung Galaxy S2

Samsung Galaxy SII already comes with a AccuWeather widget pre-installed, all you need to do is to add to one of your screens.

Tap and hold an empty area of your Galaxy S2 until ...

... the screen settings appear. Tap Widgets.

Swipe left/right until you find the AccuWeather.com widget.

The weather widget will be added to the screen.

If you don't have enough room on your current screen, the system will automatically create a new one and add the widget on it.

Tap the new widget to confirm it.

Let's now set location you want the weather report of.

If you want the weather report of your current location then tap Yes if you want to set some other city then tap No.

Let's tap No.

Tap into the search field and enter the name of a city you want to display the weather report on your widget.

Choose the city in the search results bellow.

And that's it,  the weather widget is now active and working.

To get the fresh weather report data, simply tap the refresh button in the lower right corner of the widget.

You can add several cities to your widget as well. To do that, tap the widget ...

... tap the button in the upper right corner ...

... and again search for the new city and add it.

The weather reports of the places you added are going to cycle on the widget.

To remove the city, tap the Menu button (left to the central home button bellow the screen) and choose Delete ...

... uncheck the city and tap Delete.

In order to receive fresh weather reports you need an active internet connection, be it via WLAN or mobile data. If you are using mobile data be aware that some of the data will be used to refresh the weather feed. You can set the refresh interval by taping the Menu button, Settings and Auto refresh. If you don't want the weather report to refresh automatically then choose None, otherwise choose the time frame in hours.
