How to measure distance in Google Maps

Great and simple way to measure distance between the places using Google Maps and its distance measure tool.

1.

Open Google Maps and go to desired location.

2.

Then click on Maps Labs on bottom left side.

3.

A new window will pop up, where you find the Distance Measure Tool ...

4.

... and enable it on the right side.

5.

Click on Save changes.

6.

A small ruler icon will show in the bottom left side (check the pic).

Click on it.

7.

And then click on starting point.

8.

And then all the rest points you want to measure.

9.

On the left side, Google Maps will show you total distance and options to delete last point or reset the whole measuring.

Hope you liked it :)
