How to make spinach cheese rolls
If you are a spinach fan then you will love this tasty and easy to make rolls, filled with quark cheese and spinach.

Take the frozen spinach out of the freezer and let it melt at a room temperature than put into the bowl.
You can use the regular fresh spinach as well if you like.

Add the quark cheese.
There should be 3 times more of the quark cheese comparing to spinach.
|
|

Mix it together using a fork.
Add a few pinches of salt and again stir it.
If you wish you can add a spoon or two of the sour cream into the mix.

Take the cloth, spread it over the table and make it a bit wet.
You can use your hands to make it wet.
Put the puff pastry onto the cloth.
I used the puff pastry made with wholegrain flour.

Cut the pastry so you end up with pieces as big as you can see in the image above.

Use the olive oil and spread it over the dough.
I used to spoon to spread the oil.
You can also use the regular vegetable oil instead of olive oil.

Now put the quark cheese, spinach mixture onto the pastry and spread it evenly over one third of the stripe.
If you like your wraps filled up you can spread it over a half of the pastry stripe.

Set the oven to 180 degree C (350 F).
|
|
|

Take the baking tray and cover it with the baking paper.
If you don't have a baking paper, then spread a bit of oil all over the baking tray instead.

Put the spinach rolls onto the tray and spread a bit of olive oil on each and single roll.
|
|
|

|
When the oven reaches the set temperature put the spinach rolls in and let it bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
|
|

When they get that crispy golden-brown color, they are ready to be taken out of the oven.
|
|
|
