  Persons : 3 | Preparing: 10 min | Making: 5 min | Cleaning: 12 min

1.

Put a flour in bigger plastic dish.

2.

Add sugar.

3.

Slice the butter into thin slices and add it to the flour.

It is good, that we leave butter on the room temperature for an hour to get soften, befor we use it.

4.

Add baking powder (half bag)...

5.

...and 120 g of ground walnuts.

6.

Now you have to knead all this together.

Butter should be crushed good with the flour.

7.

Mass should become similar to porridge (see the picture).

Between fingers you shouldn't feel the particles of butter, all should be well kneaded.

Now do the hole in the mass.

8.

Separate the egg yolks from the egg white.

9.

Add egg yolks into the hole in the mass.

Add only egg yolks!

Now add the vanilla sugar (or vanilla flavored liquid as in the picture).

10.

Add sour cream.

11.

Again you have to knead all together.

If the dough is sticking to your fingers, sprinkle some flour on it.

12.

Shape the loaf and place it for half an hour in the refrigerator.

You can leave the dough to rest during the night or you can start to shape croissants immediately.

13.

Prepare the baking tray.

Put the baking paper on the baking tray or lubricate the baking tray with the butter.

Set the oven to 200 degrees.

14.

Take a small piece of dough in your hands.

15.

Shape little sphere with your hands first. The size should be, let say 2 cm.

16.

Now do the cookies in the shape of croissants..

The most important is the taste so don't worry if they don't look the same as those in the store.

17.

Now put them into the baking tray.

18.

Put baking tray in the heated oven.

Bake cookies to golden-brown color. (10-15min).

19.

Sprinkle some powdered sugar on the cookies.

20.

Bon Appétit!
