Connect Samsung mobile device to Kies via USB
We are going to connect a Samsung mobile phone to a Windows Notebook using Samsung Kies synchronisation app and a USB cable.

Open Samsung Kies program.
Click here for the Samsung Kies download and installation tutorial.

|
Connect the Samsung Mobile device to your notebook or PC.
I've connected a Samsung Galaxy S2 to a notebook.

|
|
Wait for the device driver software to install (see picture).
|
|
| |
4.

|
|
If everything went well your mobile device should show up under Connected devices.
|
|

|
|
Let's transfer some photos you've taken with your mobile phone to you computer.
Click Photos and select the ones you want to transfer (see picture).

... select the folder and click Select Folder.
|

Look for the downloaded photos in the folder you selected in Step 7.
This is just one of the things you can do with Samsung Kies, I will add some more like Outlook synchronisation or how to add music later on.
