At the moment I am wondering if Gimp is good replacement for Photoshop.

I have now played around with gimp but I find that user interface still needs some improvement.
But on the other side I most probably need some time to adopt.

What do you think?

I'm using Gimp, for the money - $0, I get exactly what I want and need, but yes it takes a bit of getting used to, especially if you're coming from the Photoshop world. They are both great, the free factor does it for me.

I tried to getting used of new UI in Gimp but somehow Photoshop still beats it with better tools and UI too. But I will give Gimp more chances and I just hope that Photoshop will someday get real alternative.

But for sure ... I think alternative is web based.

Thank you for the answers.

At the moment for me the price is an important factor and that is the reason I will give GIMP a chance.

I will report back after one month of usage and give you my opinion if it is usable or not.
