The Nokia Lumia's camera back is suppose to look like this. Similar camera bulge going on as the Nokia PureView 808, the first 41-megapixel camera with PureView technology.

| Photos at the Joe Belfiore's flickr link you posted are taken with other devices like Sony, Lumia 920, 620 etc, only a couple of them were taken with Lumia 1020. Open a photo and in description you can see the device it was taken with. |
