Create a custom short url using Tinyurl web service
Using Tinyurl web address shortener is a great way to create custom url's in no time.

1.

|
|
Copy a web address (url) you want to create a shorter and custom version for.
Select the url and press Ctrl + C to copy it.
|
|
|

|
|
Open tinyurl.com web shortener service and paste the address into the Enter a long URL to make tiny: field
Click the entry field and press Ctrl + V to paste previously copied url.
If you don't have a need to create a custom url click Make TinyUrl button and there's your short address, otherwise go to the next step ...

In the Custom alias field enter the custom address.
For instance if you want you url to look like tinyurl.com/changecolor enter change color into the field.
Click MakeTinyURL button to complete the action.

|
If you entered a custom url someone else already created you will get a warning saying The custom alias you've chosen is not available...
|
|
|

|
|
|
Just enter something else and click Make TinyURL again.
|
|
|
6.
|
|
|
... and if you entered something unique nobody else used before, you will get the tinyurl confirmed and ready to be used and shared.
To test you new custom tinyurl click Open in new window link.
