1.

Open a photograph where you want to make teeth look whiter.

We were in a small country Slovenia where I have took a photograph of the soccer fans.

2.

Select Lasso Tool (shortcut is a key L).

3.

Make a selection around the teeth.

4.

Click on Layer, New Adjustment Layer in choose Hue/Saturation...

5.

A new window will pop-up and you can name your new adjustment layer or just leave it by default.

Click on button OK.

6.

A new windows will show up , where you can set up colors and their saturation.

Click on Master and choose Yellows.

7.

Settings for yellow shades will show up.

Set Saturation to -100 (check the picture).

8.

Set the Master again, which represents all colors.

Set the Lightness to +25 (check the picture).

9.

You will see that all yellowish colors has erased and the whole selection is lighten up.

10.

In a set of layers you will see the adjustment layer and a layer mask in a black color.

Click on a layer mask (check the picture).

11.

We will fill the mask with black color and then in next steps slowly unmask it.

Click on Edit and choose Fill...

In a new windows in a drop-down menu select Black and click on OK.

12.

The photograph is unmasked and just like at the beginning.

Mask is a great tool and in next steps we will show it's powers :)

13.

Select the Brush Tool (shortcut is a key B).

With that tool we will unmask the layer.

14.

Press the button D and then X, tp set up the white/black colors.

15.

We will set up the size of a brush tool.

Click on a document with a right click and choose the custom size of Brush Tool and Select Hardness just like I did.

16.

We will set up a little bit weaker Brush tool to 30& of it's powers.

In a toolbar above set Opacity to 30%.

17.

Now click and drag easily on are with teeth.

If you made too much of whiteness, press the X key and correct it. And then press the X key again to whiten again.

18.

We are finished.

Does anyone knows where Slovenia is? :)
