1.

Before you reset your Galaxy SII or any other Android phone, be sure to backup your data first as you will lose all your pictures, videos, contacts, settings and apps!

Tap the Menu button and choose Settings.

Menu button is the physical touch button next to the home button on you Android smartphone.

2.

Swipe to Back up and reset and tap it.

3.

Tap Factory data reset ...

4.

Again, before you tap the Reset phone button, be aware that you are going to delete all the content and settings on your Android phone, including pictures, videos and installed apps.

Tap the Reset phone button and once more to confirm it and your Android phone is going to be as clean as it was one the day one when you got it.

If you get a Delete Samsung account first message then you need to delete your Samsung account: got back to the Settings, choose Accounts and sync, tap your Samsung account and choose Remove account. Now try to reset your Android phone to factory defaults once more.
