How to use Google Calculator

Did you know you can perform simple or complex math operations, measurement and currency conversions directly in Google search?

1.

Open http://www.google.com and enter 3+3= into the search field and press Enter.

You will see the result bellow right away.

2.

Let's see how Google handles 3+3*2=

It's 9, exactly, Google even added brackets where they're suppose to be.

3.

What about square root of 9.

Enter sqrt 9= and press Enter.

It's 3, right on Google!

4.

And always useful currency converter, you don't need to search for currency converter webpages, you can use Google.

Let's say we want to find out, how many Euros is 100 US Dollars.

Type 10usd to euro and there it is!

5.

You can even enter whole words as currency:

Type 455 british pounds to us dollars and press Enter.

Here you go. :)

6.

It's pretty similar with measurement conversions, want to know how many feet is 10 meters?

Into Google search type 10 meters to feet

and theres your result.

7.

You are preparing a meal and reading a recipe, but there are some strange measurements  units you are not familiar with, like "pour 100ml of milk..." How many cups is actually 100 ml?

Type 100 ml to cups

:)

8.

Another example is acres into square meters.

3 acres to square meters

3 acres is 12,140 square meters, nice I didn't know that.

9.

And if you think you can trick Google with a bit more complex calculation, think again, Google is one smart cookie. :)
