If you are a private person or you don't want Google to record and store your search history, this is how you delete it and turned it off.

1.

Go to www.google.com/history.

Enter your Google username and password if needed.

If your Google search history was turned on, then you should now see your actual history of search words you made over the time spent signed on to your Google account. You can even search your searches ;)

It's funny and all sorts of interesting going through your search words, especially if you've been using Google  search services for years.

2.

If you want to remove your search keywords, click Remove all Web History button (see picture).

3.

And if you want to disable further logging of your Google activity, click the Pause button.

4.

Click Resume in case you want your search history getting recorded and stored by Google again.

What do you think guys. Is tihis privacy serious or not?

I see positive possibilites but also you never know how can Google use you personal data against your freedom or privacy.

I don't mind Google having my search results at it's disposal, if the only thing they're using the for is to push me the Ads based on those search results.

I find Google to be a great online service and "tailored ads" are what you get for using it for free, and you can always ignore then.

Try to see if this operation can still delete records.
